MICHIGAN IRISH REPERTORY THEATER

The Michigan Irish Repertory, the only designated Irish theatre in Michigan, was founded in 2017, and works to bring Irish plays, both classic and brand new, to the Michigan theater scene. Expect to see classic theater by the Irish biggies like George Bernard Shaw, Samuel Beckett, James Joyce, W.B. Yeats, Oscar Wilde, Sean O’Casey, Iris Murdoch, and more, as well as modern day playwrights such as Martin McDonagh, Christian O’Reilly and Phillip McMahon.

The Irish theater has given the world some of the most significant plays in the history of the stage. The Michigan Irish Repertory Theatre, which has an alliance with The Cork Arts Theatre in Cork, Ireland, has a mission of focusing on bringing Irish works to life in Michigan.

Saturday at 1:00pm on the Killarney Stage.
